Update (Post Concert):

I ended up composing a piece called “Grog” for Tenor Saxophone, Viola, and Double Bass; I also played tenor sax for it. I also played bassoon for Hallie Morton’s “Self-Remidiation for Madness”, with Meghan Holman on Violin. We also both performed Dan Adarve’s “Ceramic Roller Skates”, with Meghan on Viola and me as the collaborative pianist. Alina Childers also composed a piece (which I forgot the name of), but it was a “Little Ditty” for Viola (Meghan) and Euphonium (Dan).

Unfortunately, we did not have the resources to record the concert, but I have audio recordings that have been edited. It was a great, pretty stressful, but fun event and we got a feel for each other’s compositional and performance chops. Although, all at like 50% of what we could be, since we were all zombies from staying awake composing for each other.
